Who qualifies
Must be a National Merit Finalist. Apply to FIU and complete the admissions process by March 4, 2026. Must select FIU as #1 choice on the National Merit Scholarship Corporation no later than May 1, 2026. Florida residents are funded by the Benaquisto Award (averaging ~$9,000/semester); non-residents receive 100% tuition, fees, book stipend, and on-campus housing with meal plan.
